  • Yangon-Heho - Inle Lake

Today, explore Yangon, formerly Rangoon, a quiet and charming city rich in colonial and spiritual heritage, making it one of Southeast Asia’s most authentic capitals. Begin your tour with a visit to the city center’s colonial architecture, then marvel at the giant reclining Buddha at Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda (73 meters long). See the landmark Sule Pagoda, Swedaw Pagoda housing the Buddha’s Tooth Relic, the World Peace Pagoda (Kabar Aye), Buddhist Museum, and Mahapasana Cave, site of historic Buddhist Synods.

Stop for photos at the striking Karaweik Hall — a hamsa-bird-shaped floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake. Stroll through Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market, famous for its food, textiles, handicrafts, and gems. Visit Yangon’s oldest Chinese temple and the riverside Botataung Pagoda before concluding at the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda. Described by Somerset Maugham as "glistening with its gold, like a sudden hope in the dark night of the soul," this massive stupa towers nearly 100 meters, symbolizing Myanmar’s spiritual heart.
